I’ve been using Preply for my lessons, the video calls have been clear most of the time. There’s barely any lag, the audio works fine, and it just makes it easy to stay focused and follow along in class.

My snap judgment? This was super convenient. There were plenty of times to pick from, so I didn’t have to overthink it or rearrange my whole day

I tried Preply for a trial lesson, it was just okay. The tutor was friendly and showed up on time, which I appreciated, but the lesson mostly ended up being a chat about my goals and checking my level. There wasn’t much actual learning happening. I get that a first lesson is partly for introductions, but that wasn’t really made clear beforehand, so it was a bit annoying to pay for something that felt more like a consultation than a real lesson. Maybe it depends on the tutor, but for me it felt average and not quite worth the price.

I really like that the lessons aren’t just the same thing for everyone. I’ve had classes before where I felt kind of ignored, like the tutor was just following a script, but this felt different. My tutor actually asked about my goals and adjusted the class around what I needed. It makes the lessons feel way more useful, and I enjoy practicing now.

I’ve had a good experience with Preply so far. The materials are clear and easy to follow, which makes the lessons feel manageable. My tutor also shares useful exercises to work on after class, so I don’t feel like I’m left on my own once the session ends. It’s not overly complicated, and overall I’m happy with it

There were plenty of tutors to choose from, and the filters made it straightforward to narrow things down. If you know what you’re looking for, it’s common sense to use the filters and compare your options. Overall, choosing someone was much easier than I expected.

I’m kind of mad I wasted so much time with other lessons before this. My tutor actually explains things clearly, and after just a few weeks I can already tell I’m speaking better. If anyone’s to blame for my slow progress before, it’s definitely those confusing courses I tried first

I’ve used Preply for a few lessons now, the payment process has been really easy to follow. My card went through right away, receipts showed up in my email, and I could clearly see what I was being charged for. I haven’t noticed any random extra fees so far, billing feels straightforward which I appreciate.

I did end up getting my refund, so I appreciate that part, but the support process was slow. I had to follow up more than once and it felt like things only moved after I pushed a bit harder. Glad it’s resolved now, but the whole experience could’ve been much smoother.

I liked that I could see the tutor prices upfront before booking. It made it way easier to compare options without guessing what the final cost would be. So far I haven’t run into any weird extra charges, which is good, though I’ll admit I was still a little distrustful after payment and kept checking to make sure nothing else popped up.

I’m used to places making scheduling feel like it’s my problem, especially with my shifts constantly changing. But this has actually been easy. They work around my availability instead of making me feel bad for having a job and other responsibilities. It’s been a relief not having to fight for a time that fits...

I tried a few tutors on Preply before finding one who really fits my learning style. She explains things in a simple way and stays patient when I mess up, which makes a big difference. I’ve used Preply to look for tutors, and overall I’d say it’s decent. I did end up finding a couple of teachers I really liked, so in that sense it worked for me. The trial lesson was helpful for getting a feel for someone’s teaching style, but if you’re planning to take lessons regularly, the cost can climb quickly. Personally, I also found the fees and subscription/payment side a little confusing at times, like it wasn’t always obvious what I was committing to. I wouldn’t call it a bad deal, especially if you find the right tutor, but in my experience you do need to spend some time browsing and comparing before it feels worth it

I’ve mostly been using Preply to message tutors before actually booking anything, i kind of wish I’d started doing that earlier. It’s been really easy to ask about availability, lesson style, and what I’m hoping to work on without feeling like I’m making some big commitment right away.
The notifications have worked fine for me, and everything stays in the same chat thread, which makes it simple to go back and check what was said. I haven’t run into any major problems so far, and it definitely saves me from booking first and regretting it later...

Booking a lesson was straightforward, and I really liked that the tutor times showed up in my own timezone. Payment went through with no issues, probably took like a minute or two. The only thing is I had to click around for maybe 5 minutes to figure out how the trial lesson rules worked. Overall, it was a good experience, just could be a bit clearer.

I reached out to support thinking it would be a quick, simple question, but I ended up waiting days for a reply. By the time they got back to me, I was already frustrated because it felt like something that should’ve been handled much faster...

I got frustrated trying to pause my subscription because the settings weren’t as straightforward as I expected. I was ready to be annoyed about the whole thing, but then support stepped in and fixed it quickly. So yeah, the pause option could definitely be easier to find, but the help I got was solid

I had kind of a mixed experience with Preply.. my tutor definitely knew the subject and I did learn from the classes, but there were a few times they showed up late or changed lessons at the last minute. So yeah the lessons were helpful, just not as organized as I was hoping for. I feel like it really comes down to which tutor you choose. Not a bad experience overall, but it could feel a bit more professional

Compared to other lesson platforms I’ve tried, this one has been way less stressful. My lessons start on time, joining is simple, and I haven’t had any random cancellations so far. that’s pretty much what I was hoping for, so I’m happy with it.

It’s been getting better every week now. I noticed a few small changes at first, and then suddenly it just felt smoother overall. Not perfect maybe, but definitely moving in the right direction. I keep checking back, and yeah, it’s nice to see things improving instead of staying the same.
